Do you have Global Clip quantization set to none? That value (in the upper left corner), needs to be set to some subdivision for everything to sync up nicely.

On the default set, the volume is down all the way on the tracks. Could that be the issue? It sounds like the looping is working as the transport starts after a rec/play.

Regarding shipping to a hotel, that’s not a problem as long as you call the hotel first. Also, since its east coast, account for about 5 days transit time unless you specify a faster method.

We got this resolved. It turns out you cannot drag Looper ‘presets’ into the track. The script relies on the device name being reported as ‘looper’, and the Looper presets report their preset name, not the correct device name, confusing the script. To fix, just drag the looper device in, not the presets.

It sounds like what you want is pretty achievable in about 3-4 presets. Each preset represents a complete set of instructions for the set of 12 buttons. It is really just a matter of deciding how you want to change presets and then filling in the rest of the buttons with commands.

Hmm this shouldn’t have any connection to the diode issue. Can you post what OS and version of live you are using? Also, if you are using 1.1 beta or the 1.0 remote script? Can you try the same setup as the video, using the default set as the starting point? Most likely in the set you are using clear is not mapped to the looper and there is a conflicting mapping on the gain.

I think all you need to do is leave the track record armed, but turn monitoring to off. This way, only the output of the clip will play butbno signal will pass through. It shouldn’t be necessary to trigger the record arm. If you need to, you can reprogram the datalooper to also send a midi cc command.
