Hi Max. It sounds like the pedal is working fine, however the script does need to be installed for the pedal to work with Ableton. The User Remote Scripts is a different thing altogether. I can assure you that if you have Ableton installed, it does have a Midi Remote Scripts folder. It’s necessary to copy that script over before you can get DataLooper playing nice with Ableton. Perhaps you have to enable ‘show hidden files’? Check out the getting started section in the user guide for more info, but the folder should be here:
